Discover Roasted Corn Stand

If you're ever in Burien, WA, and in the mood for something simple yet delicious, the Roasted Corn Stand is definitely a spot worth visiting. Nestled at 13614 Ambaum Blvd SW, Burien, WA 98166, this little gem serves up one of the best street snacks in the area: roasted corn on the cob, prepared just the way you like it.

From the moment you arrive, the smell of freshly roasted corn fills the air, tempting your senses and drawing you closer. It’s not just about the corn itself but the whole experience. The stand is cozy, unpretentious, and exudes a welcoming vibe, making it easy to relax and enjoy your food.

What sets the Roasted Corn Stand apart from other street vendors is the personal touch they bring to each order. Whether you like your corn with a little bit of butter and salt, or with a mix of spices like chili powder, lime, and cotija cheese, you can customize it however you want. The owners take pride in providing a unique twist to each serving, ensuring every bite bursts with flavor. This is no ordinary corn on the cob-it’s a flavorful experience that keeps people coming back for more.

The corn is always perfectly roasted, with a slight char on the edges that adds a smoky flavor that complements the sweetness of the corn. Every time I’ve visited, the corn has been consistently well-cooked, with just the right amount of seasoning. You might be tempted to try the toppings that are available, but honestly, even a simple butter-and-salt combination is perfect on its own. That being said, if you're adventurous with your taste buds, the spiced-up versions are equally satisfying.

What’s even better is that this place doesn’t just serve corn. They also offer a variety of other delicious snacks, making it a great pit stop for anyone craving some quick comfort food. Though the stand’s primary focus is the roasted corn, it also features some other grilled items and sides, creating a well-rounded menu for visitors to enjoy.

Beyond the food, the Roasted Corn Stand offers an inviting atmosphere. The owners are always friendly, taking the time to chat with customers and make them feel like part of the family. It's clear that they take pride in their work and want each customer to have a memorable experience. The fact that it's a family-run stand makes the whole experience even more special, with a personal touch that larger establishments sometimes miss.

Over the years, the Roasted Corn Stand has become a local favorite. People rave about it on social media, leaving glowing reviews about not only the quality of the food but also the down-to-earth charm of the place. Many customers return time and time again, bringing friends and family along to introduce them to this hidden treasure in Burien.

It’s also worth mentioning that the stand operates seasonally, making it the perfect stop when the weather warms up and you’re looking to enjoy a casual, outdoor snack. Whether you're out shopping or just strolling through the area, it's a great way to treat yourself to something savory while soaking up the local atmosphere.

There’s something about the simplicity of roasted corn done right that can take you back to your childhood, evoking memories of summer fairs and picnics. But here, at the Roasted Corn Stand, it’s not just nostalgia-it’s a consistently delicious experience.

In short, if you're craving a snack that’s both comforting and full of flavor, make sure to stop by the Roasted Corn Stand. Its unbeatable flavors, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere will make you a fan after just one bite.

  • I know I should be eating corn on the cob, but it was too damn cold and rainy for me to be able to enjoy it that way (I promised myself that i would save that for a nicer day). I decided on getting the Mexican corn in a cup, so I could eat it in the car without making a mess. I was regretting buying just a small cup after the first bite...it was that good! The line was long and it was getting late, but we'll be back. I'm getting a bigger cup next time!

  • So glad they got out of the little stand and expanded their business. Would’ve paid $5-8 each for this at the state fair but you can literally get it for $3 here. Hood eats at this finest

  • Sometimes you just look at a place and know it's going to be good. I didn't get any corn, shame on me, but I did get mango with chili/lime/salt. Man was that good...the combo of sweet, tart, salty, and spicy... flavor bomb.

  • I AM NOT VERY ABLE TO RECOMMEND BUT THIS PLACE GETS MY RESPECT. HERE THEY KNOW HOW TO HANDLE CORN, MAIZE. The flavor they give is unique, they know how to treat corn and serve it with love. You can feel the flavor from the moment you take the first bite. The service is very good and the quality is good and clean. A place that stays clean, a place that makes you come back again and again. It's not the place, it's the flavor they handle... and the best thing is that it's open until 10 pm... excellent business.

  • Very cute place! I recommend everyone who want to try Mexican street food to come here. Friendly staff too. The corn on a cob was lovely, but I realize I really liked the tosti-esquite. I got fruta en vaso to try everything, but I will get the mango only next time.

  • Yum! Got the #2 Mexican corn, initially I wasn't sure how I would like mayonnaise on corn, since normally I am not a fan. But let me just say all the flavors blended perfectly together and it is a treat. Could have been a bit spicier, but the richness of the cheese to go with the tanginess of the spices really blend well. Highly recommend

  • Super cool little place. Definitely a hole in the wall. Super small. A small selection of Hispanic grocery items, which I loved. The food and drinks were great, very authentic. However, the corn cob by itself was definitely not good quality (small cob, dry kernels, dull flavor), so it relies heavily on the spices and cream. More expensive than I expected but worth paying to keep this little gem in business.

  • Authentic Mexican snack so you don’t have to go all the way to Mexico. They started out as a stand and now they have their own brick and mortar location. The staff are really nice. They have a couple of tables for you to sit there and and enjoy the snacks. Most people just ordered it to go though. Lots of interesting snacks option if you are up for an adventure!
